God's Remedy

God invented forgiving as a remedy for a past that not even he could change and not even he could forget. His way of forgiving is the model for our forgiving. ~ Lewis B. Smedes, , The Art of Forgiving

I really like that quote...

by the way...I'm new to blogging and came across your blog by hitting "next blog". I'm glad I did though! I see you went from being protestant to Catholic. Right now I attend a non denominational fundamentally protestant church. I've been interested in contemplative prayer and since most of the writers that cover that topic are catholic, have become interested in catholicism. Do you have any thoughts on contemplative prayer? I think it's a valid form of prayer and have experienced it myself, but I know that a lot of Christians see it as heresy.
Was just wondering your thoughts. Would love if you visited my page...I just posted a question and answer I had with my daughter last night. She asked me if everyone was going to heaven. I'd love advice on how to handle that question.
Peace and blessings :)
