Why are we bored?
The fool confuses familiarity with knowledge, and wonders at life's banality. The wise knows the difference and is caught up in wonder!
Yes, the quote is original to me, though I doubt that the notion it seeks to give voice to is. As an ancient sage once observed, "There is nothing new under the sun" (Ecc 1:9).
