MUSINGS - Courage
Genuine courage always begins with our faces to the ground.
I suppose also that fear of God is the beginning of courage...
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, I think that that was what Jesus' was getting at when he said,
ReplyDelete"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell" (Matthew 10:28 RSV).
Those who prostrate themselves before God find in that act the resources needed to stand against all other powers!
